Fire Station
The Santa Ana Fire Department requested improvements to their existing seven out of ten fire stations in order to accommodate their future needs. This included updating the buildings to current code standards of ADA compliance, and retrofitting the buildings to accommodate a larger staff that includes female fire fighters.
GPa’s scope of work included generating of a needs assessment analysis, developing a Statement of Probable Costs, and proposing a conceptual plan for each fire station. The study was completed in 2007. In 2008, the City obtained GPa to develop and oversee the renovation of Fire Station No.5 based on their studies. Fire Station No.5 was completed on time and on budget. The remaining fire stations are awaiting funds before further development continues.
