Project Description

The renovation encompassed converting a secondary side door into a main entrance door and focal point for Building 25. This involved retrofitting the north door with ADA accessible route and associated renovations for egress because the current accessible east door would be obstructed for constriction of an adjacent building. Therefore, GPa provided a permanent ADA access ramp for the new entrance that would blend with the design and be approved with formal application to the Department of the State Architect.

The following is the listed scope of the project:

- New Canopy design over door with fire sprinkler integration

- New entrance door with larger Glass-lite/ Reverse the swing

- ADA accessible ramp

- Landscaping around new ramp area

- Demo existing desk for egress clearance and install new reception desk area in its place.
