The Calavera Pump Station was designed and built within a new residential development with sensitive view corridors and a strict HOA. The architectural goal of the Calavera Pump Station was to seamlessly blend a traditionally industrial-looking typology within the context of the neighbor. Through meetings with clients and the community, GPa designed a pump station that used the materiality and color scheme of the surrounding community to aesthetically meet the needs of the HOA and view corridors.
