Project Description

This multi-story renovation included adaptive reuse of a lawyer's office into City offices and kitchen. The kitchen is used to support banquets and catering opportunities.

Working side by side with the client, we developed precise construction documents, which enabled the bid to be on target with the City's budget.

GPa responded to challenges of egress and ADA requirements in the spaces that were not programmed to be changed along the egress path between spaces of major renovation. An elevator was added to gain ADA access to the second floor. While enhancing the facade, GPa gave consideration to subtle design changes to correspond to ADA requirements without compromising the function of existing spaces that remain.
